Arnott’s launches new Foundation to help Aussie families in need
Australia’s favourite food company, Arnott’s, has today marked the launch of The Arnott’s Foundation by announcing Camp Quality as its inaugural beneficiary.
Arnott’s has established the Foundation, whose mission is to ‘create positive environments that allow families to build, maintain and enjoy a better quality of life’ to thank the people of Australia for the support they’ve given the Company for the past 139 years.
According to media personality Eddie McGuire, family is central to everything in our lives, which is why he jumped at the chance to take on the role of Chairman of The Arnott’s Foundation.
‘A wonderful cause to be a part of, along with everyone else involved in the Foundation,’ said Mr McGuire. ‘Families suffer so often in the face of economic and social pressures. The Foundation’s work will focus on galvanising family units within the community by providing much-needed funds for charities like Camp Quality to run their national Family Camps program.’
Joining Mr McGuire on the Board of the Arnott’s Foundation is President Arnott’s Asia Pacific Mr Walter Bugno; Vice President Human Resource Arnott’s Asia Pacific Ms Lorraine Murphy; and Chairman and Managing Director of The Stenmark Organisation Mr Damien Stenmark.
Arnott’s has confirmed it will continue its long-standing relationship supporting Fairy Sparkle, Driver Reviver and Foodbank under the banner of the Foundation. Last year alone, the Company donated more than 1.2 million portion packs of biscuits to Driver Reviver, and more than 104,000 kilograms of biscuits and snacks to Foodbank.
