Arnott’s Biscuits Bush Fire Relief

7th January 2020

Like all Australians, we were deeply saddened by the devastating bushfires and drought affecting our beautiful country.

In times of disaster, Aussies pull together like one big family!

Arnott’s Biscuits has donated $350,000 to help those who have been impacted.

This includes $250,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Recovery fund and $100,000 in requested product donation, which will be distributed by Foodbank to evacuation centres, displaced communities and front-line services across the fire affected regions.

Thank you to all of those who are bravely fighting these fires and helping with the ongoing recovery process. Our thoughts continue to be with everyone affected around our country.

There is no substitute for Australia!

Virginia Bakery Tours Day 2019

14th November 2019

Thank you to everyone that came along and supported the Arnott’s Biscuits Virginia Bakery Tours Day.

We are excited to share that we have raised just over $32,500 for Camp Quality!

These amazing funds enable Camp Quality to run a Family Camp for over TEN families. This means, that they not only reconnect as a family unit (away from the daily ups and downs of a cancer diagnosis) but also connect with others just like them who can truly understand and appreciate what they are going through.

The weekend away will help create new memories where cancer can take a back seat!

It helps families deal with challenges in a fun, safe environment and allows the kids to just be kids!.

With the continued growth of the Arnott’s Foundation, we set out on a journey 12 months ago to identify a new beneficiary, with plans for this charity to support our mission “Creating moments of real connection for Australian Families when they need it most”

Farming was identified as an ideal fit, with Aussie Helpers recently approved to be the third beneficiary.

The Arnott’s Foundation 10th Anniversary Gala Ball

23rd February 2018

The 10th Anniversary of the Arnott’s Foundation Gala Ball was held on the 23rd of February at the International Convention Centre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Over 900 guests were entertained by Catriona Rowntree as MC, and performances from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Fasika, and Furnace and the Fundamentals.

On behalf of Camp Quality, Brooke Macarthur and Melissa Zerafa, spoke publicly for the first time on the night about the heartbreak of finding out their sons had cancer and how friendship helped them through their hardest days in hospital.

“Mel and I instantly shared the mutual feeling of helplessness watching our sons battle their cancers, our feelings of despair at not being with our other children and those haunting fears for our son’s futures,” Brooke says.

“Prior to our sons being diagnosed we had both never really given much thought into how Camp Quality helped families impacted by cancer … until we became those families,” Brooke says, “The unwavering support, the opportunities to reconnect and the countless smiles on our kids’ faces at Camp Quality programs will stay with us for a lifetime.”

The night was a great success with the Arnott’s Foundation successfully raising over $500,000. These funds will go towards running Camp Quality Family Camps across Australia.

Thank you to the organising committee for the biggest and best Gala Ball yet!
